From initial installation to ongoing service, Bick Group has been providing access floor solutions to companies since 1964. We have extensive knowledge and experience
regarding the types of systems and how they are best deployed as well as how best
to manage installations in coordination with other trades. We have completed thousands
of quality projects on time and within budget. Our projects have ranged in size from
600 to 600,000 square feet.

Bick Group’s decades of experience with data center construction makes us better able to serve our access floor customers. We take a holistic view to specifying and installing access floor systems. We understand how best to coordinate access floors with cooling systems, cable tray and fire suppression systems because we install those systems as well. We have helped many design teams and data center operators with access floor construction and floor-loading issues.

Applying Access Floor Expertise
In addition to data centers, we have installed access flooring systems for numerous critical applications, such as call centers, training rooms, educational institutions, labs, libraries, control rooms, hospitals and GSA facilities, which include courthouses.

Because they effectively distribute HVAC and wiring, access floors have been traditionally used in data centers. But what we have found is that these same benefits and more also apply to office buildings, where there has been a large increase in access floor use.

Using access flooring in offices can offer lifecycle cost reductions, productivity gains and health benefits from improved air distribution and quality. Organizations are reducing energy consumption by 10 percent to 30 percent. If designed properly, access floor benefits can be achieved at a first cost comparable to more traditional methods of construction. Indeed, access floors have been integral in many LEED-certified buildings.
